Hooking Update

Since the Eliot Hook-in, I'm on a hooking roll!  I did bring the Woolen Memories Vintage Urn pattern, and I've gotten some good hooking done this week!
I love this rug.  You know how it is when the hooking just rocks?  All the wool you have is dyed perfectly, and you don't have to think about what you are pulling for a strip?  Well, that is the magic of this rug for me!  And boy, did I need it!  I can't wait to finish the middle section this weekend and start the hit or miss!
I'll keep you posted.

I'm so glad to welcome so many new followers.  I have tried to get you onto my sidebar, but for some reason, I can't save to my sidebar.  I can follow people, but adding you to my blog list causes my computer to freeze.  I need to sit down and make a list of all of the blogs I've got missing so far.  Blogger is a bugger at times, yes?

Could I be more psyched for the weekend?  Time to hook, dye wool, go antiquing...use my weight watchers points!  Hope you have a lovely couple of days off!

Ahh Courtney, what a beautiful rug and I love the colors. I'm so glad that everything is going smooth for you on this hooking.

Blogger has been playing tricks on me too this week. I would be typing a comment and it would disappear and appear on my own blog and last evening it even appeared as a post on my blog with someone else's blog title. Weird...

How lovely! I am so inspired! I wondered about the frame for the darling piece you sent me. Will a Quick Snap work?

For your WW points, what will you have?? I vote for something decadent! Ice cream... Oh Yeah... That's the thing... with lots of fruit... whipped cream. .... nuts... Drool...

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Courtney, it sounds like you are having a great day. Your rug is just beautiful! I know what you mean, that is such a great feeling when you are in a creative "zone". :) I have started working on a new needlepoint canvas, with red poppies. I have been doing so much knitting I haven't picked up any needlepoint in about a year. I was really happy to see that my hands still had all their memory and I was stitching away without having to concentrate. It is so relaxing when that happens. Have a wonderful weekend! Delisa :)

I can't wait to see the rug finished. Beautiful colors. Yes, blogger is very frustrating at times, especially for me...I am a bit computer challenged.

What a lovely rug...I've seen many gals show their new creations...I have mine sitting in my craft room upstairs just staring at me as I walk by...wondering when I'll pick them up instead of my sewing...goodness who knows but I miss doing it and seeing yours makes me want to find time now to do mine.

I can see why you are so pleased with your rug, thus far. It's a beaut! Congrats on so many followers too.
I'm afraid I get so frustrated with blogger, I just give up at times, then come back to it. It seems tempermental.

I may not know hooking but I do know what you mean about your project being one of those where everything just seems right. I love it when that happens!
